Dear friends,
I think this is it. Seems to tick all the boxes.
I thought however, I should see if you have any comments before I book.
The building does have a lift and is over 110 sf in size.
My searches on TA have so far only come up with a couple of positive reviews of the agency - Holidays-France-Rentals and of the street.
I would be most grateful for any comments. Especially, if there is anything I should be aware of as far as the area is concerned.

Such excitment. At this rate of distraction-I%26#39;ll be sacked and unable to afford a holiday :)
cheers

Don%26#39;t know the agency but the apartment looks gorgeous and I love that area.
Price looks reasonable, too - given it sleeps so many.
Isn%26#39;t it hard to concentrate on something as mundane as work when you%26#39;ve got this to plan?

Have not been able to give anything my full attention since I started. I feel good about this place. Hopefully, once things are booked, I can get some work done.
Thanks for ur comments. Part of the fun has been discovering TA.

Don%26#39;t count on it: once the apartment is booked you%26#39;ll have all the other holiday-related things to research and plan. And when you get back – there%26#39;s the next trip to get started on. (I%26#39;m a hopeless addict.)

Thanks Ella...
Maybe we%26#39;ll have to start one of those support groups...Trip Advisor Anon...
You%26#39;re right though. BTW, where is your next trip to?

I have a ridiculous amount of leave owing to me – almost 100 days – and I%26#39;m under pressure to clear it.
So: Mum and I are doing a mother/daughter trip (her first time out of Oz) and we are spending just over a week in Paris, then 2 weeks in Tuscany (Easter next year), and a week in Venice – before we join my husband and my Dad (who will also be leaving our island/continent home for the first time) in Roma for week.
After that, Mum and Dad spend about 4 weeks on the Italian Riviera (in the Cinque Terre area) before making their way back to Paris through Provence, the Ardèche, the French Alps and the Burgundy area – and we have about 5 weeks heading from Rome out to Budapest (our farthest point west) before we make our way back to Paris for a few nights before we fly home.
Funny: I was in my late 30%26#39;s when I first went to Europe and as soon as I touch back down in Oz, I%26#39;m planning my next trip. I%26#39;m currently in trip planning heaven: three itineraries to research.
I seriously need that support group....

OMG, I think I%26#39;d be going crazy by now but what fun.
That sounds awesome.
U will have a great time :)

luv2travel - I%26#39;ll be in Paris later this month and I also booked an apartment right by Place de Vosges. I asked a French friend who lived in Paris for two years about the location - she said her grandmother lives in that area and it is beautiful and that I will not be disappointed. So I think you and I have done well! :)

I can%26#39;t agree more!!! I literally have not done anything outside of work since I booked this trip. I blame it on TA - so much advice and a wealth of information to sift through! What? Election day is tomorrow? Who%26#39;s running?! ;)

What a wonderful apartment...book it now before anyone else does. Very reasonable price for this size and quality. Please let us know how it is.
This is a great location, I am familiar with it and I too have chosen to stay on rue Francs Bourgeois just by the lovely Place des Vosges in December.
How lucky you are to have all these holidays. I hope you have a wonderful time on all your travels.
Moshi where is your apartment situated, maybe it is the same.

Oh, that looks great! I love the Marais area--have stayed there many times. Enjoy the anticipation--that%26#39;s half the fun, IMO!

Oh well done you! Lovely looking apartment (what, parquetry floors, fireplaces and a balcony?!!), very stylishly equipped - and the location is terrific. See? All that searching did pay off...
:)
Enjoy those strolls through the Place des Vosges!
