We will be staying at an Airport hotel at CDG for the day and evening of NY Eve - (bad planning) as we have to catchan early international flight on New Years Day morning. Is there any way to get to a shopping center or something of interest for the afternoon of NY Eve ? Or any suggestions for that afternoon and evening? We have another family with us so if necessary we can make our own fun in the evening, but would prefer to go elsewhere even if for just a few hours..
Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

Most of us would only stay out near CDG at gunpoint so we%26#39;re not a great source of information.
My best suggestion would be to email your hotel and ask them to advise you as to what is going on in their neighbourhood, in addition to their own very expensive celebration.

It will depend on how late the RER will be running, because you won%26#39;t be able to find a taxi in Paris to return to your hotel...
