We are returning to Paris after 23 years (long overdue) and I can recall both of the above showrooms on the Champs Elysee were much more than just showrooms. They had bars, restaurant and car museum and both were experiences worth re-visiting. Grateful if someone could advise if they still exist?

Yes, there are several car %26quot;flagship stores%26quot; on the Champs Elysées; even a few new ones that were not there 23 years ago:
- l%26#39;Atelier Renault (www.atelier.renault.com)
- Citroën (narrow but several floors)
- Peugeot Avenue (interesting prototypes, shop)
- Mercedes Benz (nothing spectacular, just cars)
- Le Rendez-vous Toyota (interesting prototypes, etc.: http://www.toyota-europe.com/rendezvous/)

The Citroën store (at 42 Avenue des Champs Elysées) is called C42 - you%26#39;ll find more information at http://www.c42.fr
