Long term appartment rental

My wife and I are looking to move to the Savoie region close to a ski resort. We are looking for a 2 bedroom furnished appartment to rent from mid December until May 2009 or may be longer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ,

You could try a chap called Adam Biggs ,he can be contacted by email at adam@mrblueski.com .

He has a converted farmhouse (has been converted into 3 self contained apartments from memory) in the small village of Le Villeret just above Bourg-Saint-Maurice and can accommadate seasonal rentals.

The accommadation is about 8 - 10 minutes to the funicular in BsM wich goes up to the ski lifts at Les arcs 1600, also within half an hour to 1 hours drive are the resorts of La Plagne ,La Rosiere ,Ste-Foy ,Val D%26#39;isere %26amp; Tignes in one direction and in the other the Trois Vallee%26#39;s resorts of Val Thorens ,Meribel and Courcheval.

For anyone looking to stay in the savoie as a base for searching for property Bourg-Saint-Maurice is hard to beat.

You sound ideal to rent my apartment in Le Grand Bornand (Haute Savoie) but I%26#39;m just finalising a contract with someone for this winter - if it falls through for any reason I%26#39;ll send you a private message.

I get the impression you%26#39;d rather be near a resort rather than in a resort, but you still might find this page useful - it%26#39;s where I blogged everything I knew about this kind of thing:

It%26#39;s still fairly in date, although I%26#39;d add http://www.tignes-spirit.com to the list of accommodation people , and seasonal insurance is easier to find than it was a few years ago - %26#39;insure and go%26#39; were the cheapest I could find last year.

Good luck - you probably know this already, but don%26#39;t hang about as a lot of stuff will have gone already.
