My husband and I will be staying in Arles for 2 nights. We%26#39;d like to eat at some moderately priced (not more than 30 euro/person) restaurants. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

In late 2006 we ate at a restaurant we really enjoyed and will be going back there next week!

Lots of good options in your price range. A couple places just south of the Hotel Calendal (on Rue de la porte de Laure) are first rate and then there are several good restaurants on the streets between the Arena and the around the Place du Forum. Sorry I can%26#39;t provide you with names but a little pre-7 pm strolling in those areas will pay off. An excellent wood fire pizza place is just across the street from the northwest corner of the Arena.

Check out Le Grillon by the amphitheater. We had a good, inexpensive lunch there last month.

We had our best lunch while in Provence at Les Huiles Jamard (d%26#39;olive) right off of place du Forum at 46 rue des Arenes. It%26#39;s just a tiny little place but they make their own olive oil and the food is so fresh and delicious.

La Mamma pizza (by the arena) is a good value and open late.
There is also a good inexpensive local creole place down the street from that called something like %26#39;Your World of Creole%26#39; (in French of course).

Do what we do - wander around the town looking at which restaurants are the most popular with the locals - then eat there.
