Picasso at Grand Palais Advice

This sounds like a major exhibition so how likely is it that I will have a long wait in line during the first week or are lines not usual for these shows?

Should I prebook or can I just wing it and go when it fits my schedule?

Get a ticket in advance at Fnac or Virgin and get there at the time printed on your ticket. There will still be a line because of security and because they tend to oversell. When I have a ticket with entry between 11:00 and 11:30 for example, I go at 11:20 at it has worked so far.

Thanks.

I have found that I can buy tickets online from three different ticket outlets but I can%26#39;t figure out if I can print out those tickets or if I have to go to an outlet to pick them up or if I pick them up at the gallery?

Helloooooo out there.........

It appears as though you can print off your ticket after purchase (from FNAC website).

My French is far from perfect, so if someone could confirm, I certainly won%26#39;t feel slighted.

I%26#39;m french and have just been on the FNAC website and can confirm that, yes, those are definitively printable tickets for an extra 0.50€ each (chose option %26quot;Billet imprimable à domicile %26quot; at checkout). That%26#39;s what the little green and yellow e-ticket logo means. Isabelle

I%26#39;ve just checked Digitick for the exhibition tickets and they are less expensive than FNAC by 0.5€, no extra fee is charged for a printable ticket and you can even select the english language...

Thanks for your help.

If I choose not to print the tickets, can I pick them up at the venue or do I have to go to a FNAC or other outlet for them?

|||

Hi,

No you can%26#39;t pick up your tickets from the %26quot;Grand Palais%26quot; but can opt to pick them up at a FNAC or a partner shop (CarrefourAuchan, Casino, Galeries Lafayette, Virgin etc... list here: www.fnacspectacles.com/listePointVente.do ). You will need to bring the card you%26#39;ve used to pay for them online. Hope this helps..

Isabelle,

Thanks so much for the link to digitick. I just purchased and printed my tickets for a December date.

This exhibition is evidently very popular. If you find that FNAC have few times available, try the other agencies such as Digitick.com. They all seem to have their own allocations. I found that I had a much bigger choice of times with Digitick.
