NYE Itinerary Critique

So with less than two months to go I have revamped my itinerary..it%26#39;s so much fun to plan!!

I think I have one day (Friday that may be overwhelming but still doable) I think by limiting myself to to 2-3 planned things daily I will have plenty of time for non-planned things.

We also decided for some things to be optional, depending what we feel like. Though in reality it will all be optional.

I know it%26#39;s somewhat structured and has a typical tourist spots but bear with me as it is my friends first visit and only my second. I have not yet gotten my fill of central Paris. Comments welcome and restaurant suggestions are also appreciated!

I like a good, structured itinerary. Unless you were born knowing your way around Paris – or anywhere else for that matter – how are you going to make the most of your limited time?

And, as you say, it%26#39;s all optional. You can ditch the whole thing once you get there.

Of course, everybody%26#39;s itineraries depend on their personal preferences – but we were underwhelmed by Versailles (possibly because of all the construction work going on).

Try to fit in a visit to one of the produce markets – there%26#39;s a useful list by arrondissements at chocolateandzucchini.com/parismarkets.html.

Things I, personally, think it would be a shame to miss: the Lady %26amp; Unicorn series of tapestries at the Musee du Moyen Age, the sculpture garden and the Musee Rodin, the astonishingly ornate Tombeau de Napoleon (just round the corner from the Musee Rodin) and the close-by Pont Alexandre III, and the stained glass windows at Saint-Chapelle (near Notre Dame). We also loved the tour of Notre Dame’s bell towers, which gets you right up close to the gargoyles and a different perspective of Paris from the Tour Eiffel and the Arc de Triomphe.

Have a great trip.

Thanks for the suggestions Ella. I%26#39;ve actually seen the Rodin Garden and Musee Cluny and love them both very much.

I usually have a more strict itinerary but my friend requested something relaxed with time to wander.
