Mont St Michel

Is it too much to do a day trip to Mont St Michel from Paris? Is there any easy DIY way to get there or is it best to get a tour?

In my opinion it%26#39;s crazy to try to do in one day.

Rent a car and explore the region.

Paris to Mt St Michel is more than 360 km (220 miles). Driving would take around 4 hours each way.

A day trip is not a good idea.....
