Hotel Britannique or Hotel Muguet

I have narrowed my search to these two hotels. My wife has a problem walking and we need advice for a convenient hotel to see the major sights. A hotel near L%26#39;Open Tour bus stop would be great. I know both are highly regarded. However, I need help with a decision. This is our first trip to Paris.

If you put your finger in the dead center of Paris on a map, you will be touching the Britannique. It%26#39;s incredibly well located. It%26#39;s also spotless, really pretty and well run. I would stay there. It%26#39;s a very short walk to just about everything in central paris.

The Muguet is nice and a bit cheaper, but it is not as central and would require the metro rather often.

You can%26#39;t beat the location of the Britannique. The hotel itself is lovely too.

The nearest stops for the L%26#39;OPEN TOUR bus BLUE ROUTE to the HÔTEL BRITANIQUE are located on rue de Rivoli, between rue des Mauvais Garçons %26amp; rue des Archives....or....across Pont Notre Dame, on Île de la Cité, along rue de la Cité between quai de la Corse %26amp; rue de Lutece.

HÔTEL MUGUET is located at The nearest stops for the L%26#39;OPEN TOUR bus ORANGE ROUTE to the HÔTEL MUGUET are located at Ave. de Tourville at Place Vauban and on quai de Branly at the base of the Eiffel Tower.

Actually, those stops are on the GREEN ROUTE. If you stay at Hotel Muguet, there%26#39;s also a stop at Place des Invalides, for either the Green or Orange routes that%26#39;s just a bit farther walking than the stop on Ave de Tourville.

Note also that Hotel Muguet is equidistant between Ecole Militaire and LaTour-Maubourg metro stations, both of which are small with only one flight down and a short walk to the tracks and escalator out.
