Hi starprincess0701,

You are going to have a great time !!! As someone once said to me, When the weather is good enjoy all the outdoor activities, parks, gardens, monuments. Once you are there, you will have a local map and put it all together, since most of these places are real close by. All of your choices are great, especially Fauchon for snacking.

Have a great time. Great screen name.

You have plenty of room in your schedule. I wouldn%26#39;t personally trek up to Sacre Coeur late in the evening. The Eiffel will be wonderful for evening, though. You could move a visit to Sacre Coeur to follow your Pere Lachaise stop perhaps.

You can also walk through the Cimetiere Montparnasse between the Catacombes and the Tour M.

I%26#39;ve never seen it in person, but you probably should add at least an nighttime outside look at the Galeries Lafayette because their Christmas/ Holiday lighting is stunning from photos I%26#39;ve seen.

Group things geographically, otherwise you will go back and forth; losing time. Do Tour Montparnasse and Catacombs the day you go to Luxembourg. Group Eiffel tower and Arc de Triomphe the same day. Then Place des Vosges and Pere Lachaise which are both in the east of Paris.

I would add the Opéra Garnier on your way to Sacré Coeur, the building is incredible

Check the closing day of the museums. Most close one day a week, often Monday or Tuesday.

Are you into art and architecture? You could try St Chapelle near Notre Dame, a poem in painted work downstairs and stained glass upstairs. Most people build in a few museums apart from the Louvre, try L%26#39;Orangerie at the far end of the Tuilleries for two huge oval rooms with Monets waterlillies under natural light, plus other Impressionists in other areas, or the Musee D%26#39;Orsay with French paintings, furniture and sculpture. Beautiful.

If you are going to Fauchon (not sure I%26#39;d describe it as a supermarket, more a boutique food store) you could also visit Hediard. Wonderful, wonderful food beautifully displayed and priced to match at both places. There is a quick lunch counter at Fauchon too. I bought fresh roasted coffee at Hediard and their fruit jelly sweets are yummy. Take a photograph. The shops around are also worth window shopping, one that sells only truffles for instance.

There is a Rodin museum and a Picasso museum which I found wonderful I had no idea that Picasso worked in so many media.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Personally nothing on day 3 appeals to me and Sacre Coeur is highly over rated and over crowded, though the view from the steps is great. Spend time wandering the streets around Abbesses metro station rather than up at Place du Tertre which teems with tourists so you can%26#39;t move.

Consider something on the river if you have time. We spent a half day travelling back down the Canal St Martin from the science museum at Parc de la Villette, through locks and a tunnel and into the Seine behind Notre Dame. Restful and a great way to see places a bit out of the way. Good commentary.

You could just wander around and have a great time but best to have at least a loos plan and to work areas rather than rushing all over the city. Have fun.
