I%26#39;m going to Paris as well. If you search this forum you%26#39;ll find useful information:

-A great city to visit and with New year people are very friendly, wishing you Bonne Annee constantly.

-Fun %26amp;/but overcrowded near the Eiffeltower.

-Beautiful view over Paris at the Sacre Coeur and less crowded in comparison to the Eiffeltower/Champs Elysees.

-Restaurants have special Reveillonmenu%26#39;s. They are always more expensive than normal menu%26#39;s. If you wish to spend your time at a restaurant, expect to pay a bill starting at 100 euro per person.

I%26#39;m still in doubt where to eat.

Next: I%26#39;ve been to Prague last year. It was simply amazing! Watched the fireworks from the distance (and with a great view over the city) while drinking champagne. While walking back, we could simply walk on champagne bottles...crazy, but fun!

Thanks for that. I had thought of Prague as I am struggling to find acommodation in paris but it has got a reputation in the UK of being full of lager louts. what do you think
