Next week in Nice

I%26#39;m heading down for a week in an apartment in the old town. Although I%26#39;ve got a few things to do, like going to see a coupple of people from the yachts in Antibes, as well as someone currently studying in Monaco, i%26#39;d apprciate any other tips of things going on. if anyone is going to be down there, it%26#39;d be nice to go for a drink.

Depends what you%26#39;re interested in and exactly when you%26#39;ll be down. The Monaco Jazz Festival is from 25 to 29 Nov, so there%26#39;ll be plenty of places in Monaco where you%26#39;ll find live bands. If you like live music, there%26#39;s usually something going on at Wayne%26#39;s, or Thor, or Ma Nolans in Nice old town. Can%26#39;t guarantee the quality tho%26#39;.

I%26#39;ll be down this Sunday til next. The jazz festival sounds like my sort of thing, but seems like I will probbly miss that. Still, I guess the atmosphere may be buzzing more than usual in anticipation.

Local jazz/funk band La Tribu are playing Moods in Monaco for 3 nights starting Tuesday 18 Nov. Entry is free, but you have to buy at least one drink. Check out their page on myspace:

If you%26#39;re seeing someone in Monaco, make a night of it. Go on Thursday and there%26#39;s a night bus back to Nice (night bus only runs Thur/Fri/Sat).
