where to get crutches or cane in Paris?

Am visiting in Paris, and I managed to injure my foot while wandering yesterday. I%26#39;m pretty sure it%26#39;s just bruised, but know enough to not put full pressure on it for at least a few days.

Where can I find crutches, or a cane? Must I have a doctor%26#39;s order to get them?

I%26#39;m in the 14th, around Alesia metro

TIA

Probably at a large pharmacy but if you have travel insurance then go to a hospital emergency section. French hospitals, from first hand experience, are great and the insurance covers all the costs except your excess. Anyway, you could ask at the pharmacy.

Also first aid of course, RICE, Rest, ice, compress, elevate.

Thanks, all. I%26#39;ll try a pharmacy - don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s bad enough for an emergency room trip, but will keep that in mind. One of the addresses you gave is right near by. Appreciate the help!

If you don%26#39;t find it at a pharmacy, BHV (Bazaar de l%26#39;Hotel de Ville) operates a medical products store near their main store on rue de Rivoli.

BHV Médical. 11, Sq. Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie 75004 in the Marais.

It%26#39;s set up to serve doctors but we%26#39;ve bought many things there over the years.

%26lt;%26lt;we%26#39;ve bought many things there over the years.%26gt;%26gt; Oh metromole, that is very worrisome.

Any pharmacie should be able to help you. The words are un can (written cane) and une becky (béquille) for crutches.
