OK, planning to go to Paris in June 2009 for 2 nights, 4 ladies for a 40th.
We have decided on Saint Germain for the area but I cannot decide on a hotel, I have trawled through reviews and I am easily put off!
I absolutely love the look of K %26amp; K Cayre but think it may be out of price range of a couple of the group.
Also, planning to go by Eurostar but if I book it as a package they are only showing prices up until March, will I have to wait a couple of months to book it? Or should I book hotel separately? We will probably go for 2 twin rooms.
Any good recommendations for a hotel in Saint Germain area, definitely not budget!

You are likely to get more meaningful answers if you could give us the price range you%26#39;re looking in - preferably in Euros. :)

Hotel reviews are often highly subjective things...and often tell more about the reviewer than the hotel. TA has no quantifiable objective standard for its ratings...comparing their %26#39;process%26#39; to %26quot;..special sauce..%26quot;. So with this in mind, perhaps the best way to employ these reviews is to toss out 25% of the most glowing, gushing raves and 25% of the worst, most damning rants...and the 50% that remains is probably about as close as you%26#39;re going to get of any sort of %26#39;..truth..%26#39;. Comparing any candid Traveler Photos posted with photos found on a hotel%26#39;s own web site is also a good way to make some sort of comparison as to room sized, decor and amenities. One %26#39;wild card%26#39; in the deck is that hotel reviews hang around for a long time...and in the interim a or run-down property may have been renovated/redecorated and a once newly renovated property may have %26#39;frayed-round-the-edges%26#39; since that renovation. So also pay attention to dates.
Having offered these qualifications, TA%26#39;s review system---while it ain%26#39;t purphekt---is still the best and broadest public resource available for this sort of information.
