ski passes

Can any one tell me if its best to buy the ski passes before we go there are 6 adults and 8 children and can anyone tell us what the age is for a childs ski pass?

We often stayed in Les 2 Alpes passes were bought depending on the snow. What period are you going? The school holidays are spread over 3 weeks and the queues can be very long in the mornings. We found that it was best to have lessons and ski while everyone was eating 12.15 onwards.

That will be good as the children will be back at school so queues will be short.
