We will be going to Disney the last weekend in November, but would love to do a day trip to Paris to take a break from the parks. :) This is our very first visit to Paris, but won%26#39;t be our last. WE plan on going again in the spring and staying for 3-4 days to enjoy the city. But, being that we have never been there, do not speak a lick of French, and have 3 children, ages 4,6 and 10 months, what would be our best option considering the colder weather also? The trip given by Disney by coach, or taking a train in ourselves and catching a tour bus? What does the Disney trip consist of? Also, the Disney trip is 65 Euro for adults/34 Euro for children. If we did the trip ourselves, would it be about the same cost after train tickets and the tour bus?
Basically, we are looking for the least stressful option this time around until we can get back for our spring trip and truly explore the city.

Well... here it is; Paris as a day trip from Disney.
I suggest you ask Disney directly what their Coach day trip consists of. Should you decided to travel into the city by yourselves, I recommend your purchasing Mobilis zone 5 passes:
Adults: 12.90€
Children 4-10: 50% reduction
Children under 4: free
The Mobilis pass will allow you unlimited travel on the RER, Métro, or bus system anywhere within zone 5 (basically from Disney into Paris, all of central Paris, and return).
The RER A from Chessy (Disneyland Paris) takes about 45 minutes to reach central Paris. For children, here are a list of special places to visit:

Of course there are the well known attractions: Le Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées, Montmartre among many others, all easily reached with a Mobilis pass.

It is very easy to head into Paris and navigate or even walk to the main sights.
My suggestion would be train from DLRP into Paris, Metro to the Eiffel tower, just opposite the tower you can get a bateau mouche and take a river tour. Back off the boat and along the left back towards Notre Dame, cross the river here and you are close to the Louvre, back through the Tuillerie gardens, up the Champs Elysee also covering Arc de Triomphe then back on the Metro and back to DLRP. If thats too much walking for little legs with the pass you can get the Metro more.
I%26#39;ll be doing this route myself next Saturday - whilst it barely scratches the surface of Paris its a nice circular route.
