Help: First 2 day visit to Nice

Hi

My husband and I are planning to spend a weekend in Nice in late November. I needed some help

Since it is our first time there - I wanted to check if it makes sense to go to Monaco for half a day or stay in Nice and not try and do too much.

P.S. we are a young couple who love to explore new places

Thanks so much

for your lst trip and with just two days I would stay in Nice....there is so much to see and you will hardly scratch the surface. If I were going to try and do a half-day somewhere else on the riviera, it would not be Monaco. Take the bus to Eze or to Ville Franch, both close by or Cap Faratt. Plenty to explore but you could explore Nice for a week and not get it covered. Nice is a walking city, don%26#39;t run around like crazy trying to do too much in a short time, just walk Nice....

With a weekend to spend and as it%26#39;s your first visit to the city, I suggest spending all the time in Nice itself.

Spend the time exploring the Old Town, visiting the daily morning open-air market in the Cours Saleya, wandering around the Old Port, strolling along the Promenade des Anglais, shopping in the area around Avenue Jean Médecin, enjoying great Niçoise cuisine in the many restaurants, visiting one of the many museums and art galleries...

As you see there is more than enough to occupy a weekend!

Enjoy.
