Eiffel Tower closed in March

My travel agent in Australia has told me that the Eiffel tower will be closed during March. Can anyone confirm this please?

The restaurant Altitude 98 will be closed until March 31st. There was a hoax about adding on a bigger flatform but it is just a hoax.
