When do I book Paris to Malaga?

We will be staying in Paris for 6 nights in February and need to book a flight to Malaga. I%26#39;ve researched past posts but something is really off. One poster said it would be around 40 euro for a flight..so I went to the site they suggested and it was 500 euro each.Major difference! Do I book now or wait closer to the time we fly? Any suggestions as to the airline?

Thank you to all posters re what to do/see in Paris. I am cutting and pasting pages and pages of your posts. Thanks to you folks I did the Vacations in Paris idea and we have an apartment near Rue Cler!

Try the Air France site, as well as RyanAir (although I%26#39;m not sure if they do that route). Usually travel within Europe is pretty inexpensive...

Also try www.aireuropa.com

Perfect...thanks for the site..

ON the low cost, seems like ryanair and easy jet are both making the connection. I haven%26#39;t checked details - direct/indirect - but you currently could have it for roughly 100 $ per leg.

I%26#39;d go with easy jet before ryanair. Ryanair have all these extra annoying added cost and are known to be very stiff on bagage allowance - although they did let me slip by with a few extra kilos -.

Ideally when shopping around it%26#39;s good to be flexible by a day or 2. If you are buying from a low cost, I would buy now. Not likely it will get much cheaper or at worst, you will have paid 50 $ more than the best possible deal. Worth peace of mind to buy now.

I looked up Ryanair but it doesn%26#39;t seem to go between Paris and Malaga.

I can%26#39;t find any budget flights direct between Paris and Malaga, and there is a catch in using LCCs if you have to make a connection - they treat each segment as completely separate, and you have to book in separately for each. If your first flight is delayed and you miss the check-in deadline for the connection, even if it%26#39;s their fault, you would probably have to buy a new ticket, at whatever the last-minute rate is.

Full-cost airlines may be cheaper booked as round-trip tickets.

There are clickair flights from Paris Orly to Seville, which might be another alternative? www.clickair.com/view/default.aspx?lang=2

Yes diz...you%26#39;re right.

Looks like the flights are indirect and the second leg is to be booked aside.

As you mentionned, there is a risk associated with not making the connection.

One way to minimize that if you that makes anxious is to plan a huge layover - 8 hours - and step out to walk into Madrid%26#39;s Prado let%26#39;s say. It might one heck of long day however. Bu I%26#39;d still prefer that than making the switch from the Seville airport to the train station...at least I get to do something. My personnal choice.

On the other hand, you can just hand out an extra 100-140 Euro and fly with air Europa or Airfrance. Not 40 Euro but still a whole lot cheaper than the 500 you saw...depends I guess the specific dates you were looking at.

And here I thought it was going to be a simple %26quot;catch a flight to Malaga%26quot;. The Air France site showed $1100 U.S so thats say $1300 Canadian. I will try the Air Europa site (never heard of them). Is there a site that shows all carriers that go between Paris and Malaga? Oh we fly out Feb 28th. I%26#39;m now willing to pay the extra $ involved as I%26#39;m getting a little worried but $1300 ouch!

The airport website is on www.aena.es/csee/Satellite… and it shows direct flights from Paris with Air France and Air Europa. As they depart/arrive at the same time, I assume they are code shares.

Good luck!

Ok one last question. I have now found Air Europa and Air France each making 3 direct flights there for Feb 28th. All they show for the price is the business class. Is there a reason they do this? Can I not get economy?
