Need confirmation on Nice train station.

Could someone please help me re correct train station?

Our car hire says drop off at Nice train station- guessing this is Nice Ville?

Also is this the best station to catch a train to La Spezia from?

Nice Ville is the best station in the region for trains to La Spezia but you will have to change trains at Ventimiglia and some itineraries require a change at Genoa too

Do you think it will be ok to buy the tkts when we arrive in Nice on the 10th Dec for a family of 2 adults and 3 youth?

We actually need to get to Riomaggiore.

Buy your tickets at Nice Ville train station, preferably the day before you leave to avoid any unexpected delays.

The train timetables are here trenitalia.it/en/orari_biglietti/index.html but schedules after December 13 are not yet available. The easiest journey time Riomaggiore is 5 hours 47 minutes, leaving at 10.05 and changing trains once only in Genoa.
