Hello everybody, although we have been to Paris before (5 years ago) we have never taken puplic transport from CDG to our hotel before. Feeling brave this time around we have decided to give it a go. we are having a long weekend, just me and the better half, so I would like any advice on taking the metro from CDG to Latour Maubourg (line 8).
Any help and advice is appreciated.

From the RER terminal at CDG (either T1 or T2):
1. Board the RER B
2. Change to RER A at Chatelet-les-Halls, direction Saint-Germain-en-Laye to Auber
3. At Auber change to M8 direction Balard
4. Exit at La Tour-Maubourg
Fare: 8.40€
En route time: 0+52

For your final destination within Paris--LA TOUR-MARBOURG Metro--rather than RER %26#39;B-3%26#39; ligne train and onward Metro connections, a better alternative might be to use the ROISSYBUS public transportation connection (8,60€..no onward Metro fare included) from it%26#39;s pick-up points outside of CDG Arrival terminals, to it Paris terminus near Place de l%26#39;Opéra--at the corner of 11 rue Scribe %26amp; rue Auber. From here, cross rue Auber, enter the OPÉRA Metro station and take the #8 Metro ligne (heading in the direction of Balard) to LA TOUR-MARBOURG Metro....OR...from the ROISSYBUS drop-off, you could take a Taxi Parisian from the regular taxi rank, directly %26#39;cross town to your accommodations in the 7eme (12€-.

Hi. Just so you know, I was traveling alone last year and couldn%26#39;t justify the expense of a taxi as I always had before when I was traveling with someone else. Like you, I got brave and attempted the RER. It%26#39;s really dead easy. Don%26#39;t be anxious at all. The signs are perfectly easy to follow from the baggage claim area. Happy travels.
